Before working with us, the company used SEM advertising as the main way to attract customers. In order to reduce its PPC budget and strengthen its position, it decided to start promoting in Google’s natural search (Organic Serach) results.

Project Objectives

Today, the Apple device repair market in Europe is quite competitive. Several ToP companies have been leading the market for the past few years, leaving their competitors far behind. Therefore, we decided to start the promotion with low and mid-frequency queries, followed by a smooth shift to high-frequency queries.

The project focused on the most popular categories, including:

General iPhone repair requests
iPhone glass replacement requests (landing pages were created for each smartphone model)
Requests for trade-in services with corresponding landing pages
Local queries, such as “iPhone Repair + Detailed Area”

Successfully Implemented SEO Strategy

The key to the success of any website promotion company is a careful technical audit. Therefore, during the first phase of our partnership, we carried out several tasks to correct existing technical errors, including:

  • Optimizing the site’s PageSpeed based on the capabilities of the existing CMS system
  • Optimizing meta tags and titles for key queries
  • Optimization of the robots.txt file
  • Optimization of sitemap.xml file: Generation of an up-to-date sitemap.xml file, exclusion of URLs with 404/301 response codes, canonical URLs, and noindex URLs; submission of sitemap.xml file to Search Console
  • Creation and optimization of main landing pages
  • Optimization of local search results (implementation of structured Schema.org data in JSON-LD (LocalBusiness) format, creation and filling of regional landing pages).
  • After following all SEO recommendations, we created optimized content for the homepage, promoted categories and new landing pages.

After publishing the content, we started building backlinks as part of the second phase of the project. At first, the main focus was to promote pages with general inquiries and requests for iPhone glass replacement. After that, we continued to handle requests such as “Repair + iPhone Model” and requests for trade-in services.

Within the first two months, we were able to stabilize our position in the top 20 Google search results.

After another month, we were in the top 10 for highly competitive queries. After that, it took us a month to move the site up in the top 3 for basic queries. Subsequently, we continued to increase the number of keywords in the TOP-3 and TOP-10 of Google results, which allowed the client to take their business to the next level and open an additional Apple device repair service center.

TIPS: Unlike SEM advertising, SEO is a long-term process that requires a special approach and investment. However, the results you get in the end are definitely worth all the money and time invested.
